I took the scenic route.
Singer Interiors really was a happy accident. Like so many other big names in the business, I didn’t go to design school and had no idea what I wanted to do at the ripe age of 22. My first career was in event planning and design. It taught me to be nimble, quick on my feet, detail-oriented, organized, and creative.
After graduating from The University of Kansas with a business management and entrepreneurship degree, I ended up in marketing and advertising. It made me a multitasker, client-service oriented, and a collaborator.
15 years later I had tackled countless remodeling, building, and design projects for our personal homes and for friends and family. I finally came to the realization that I loved it and wanted to make it my career.
Now, I’ve found my full-time, full-on happy place as a designer specializing in residential and vacation rental design. In 2023, I moved halfway across the country from Olathe, Kansas to Venice, Florida (because palm trees and the ocean makes me happy) but I still take on virtual e-design projects nationwide.
My approach is technical AND intuitive–a rare combination. My broad skill set allows me to take a full-circle approach to design. From the ground up, start to finish, and everything in-between, I’ve got you covered!
