It’s really just a happy accident I’m here. Like so many others, I didn’t go to design school and had no idea what I wanted to do at the ripe age of 22. My first career was in event planning and design. It taught me to be nimble, detail-oriented, organized, and creative.

After graduating from the University of Kansas with a business management and entrepreneurship degree, I landed in the world of marketing and advertising. It helped me be a multitasker, client-service-oriented, and a collaborator.

15 years later, I had tackled countless remodeling, building, and design projects for our personal homes and for friends and family, and I decided to make my passion … my career.

I’ve found my full-time, full-on happy place as a designer specializing in residential design. In 2023, I relocated halfway across the country from Olathe, Kansas, to Venice, Florida, and I partnered with Missi Youngblood, a talented designer with over 34 years of experience in the business. As her Lead Designer, we collaborate on large, custom, turn-key projects.

My approach is technical AND intuitive–a rare combination. My broad skill set allows me to take a full-circle approach to design. From the ground up, start to finish, and everything in between, I’ve got you covered!
