A traditional foundation layered with Mediterranean and rustic touches was the happy middle ground for these empty-nesters. The goal was to create a home that felt welcoming and would stand the test of time. The plan modifications included unique client requests like forgoing the living room fireplace for a large built-in media center and creating a spa retreat in the primary bathroom. Shades of blue are used throughout the home to create a casual and cohesive feel and statement lighting is the cherry on top. Details like the bell-shaped hood, arches, and an angled coffered ceiling make this home feel special and add personality not always found in a new build.
