The goal with this home was to bring it up to current trends and create resale value while at the same time creating a space the homeowners could enjoy and live in if they decided not to move for a few years. A traditional, timeless style lays the foundation while chic, contemporary touches such as the lighting give the space an elevated feeling. While we brought in new furniture in the living room, we utilized the owner’s dining room set (the first piece of furniture they bought together) but gave it has new life by reupholstering the chairs. Monet’s Water Lillies provided inspiration for the entire space - soft, muted colors and washes can be seen throughout the space.
